<B>WHITE BLESBUCK SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Damaliscus dorcas phillipsi</B></I><BR>The White Blesbuck is a breed, not a subspecies. Actually, very rare and a very pale color phase produced by highly selective breeding on private South African ranches. Even the horns on this rare animal are very light blondish in color. This example is a large male. Some of the hair on the backside of the ears was rubbed off on trees by scratching; otherwise the mount is as good as they come (and of course the back of the ears does not show while the mount is displayed).
