An interesting scrimshaw cane with single piece tapered whale bone shaft, walrus ivory, horn, baleen and exotichardwood L shaped handle. Handle is somewhat long (5") with 9 sections of the above materials. Total length32.5".Some shrinkage and cracks in ivory, as with most of these whale bone shafts this one appears to have never had aferrule.(EST 300-400)
