Auction Details
Under Washington State law, contents of safe deposit boxes are considered abandoned if unclaimed for five years after the lease or rental period on the box expires. They are turned over to the Department of Revenue's Unclaimed Property Section, which makes every effort to find the owners. If efforts are unsuccessful, the Department is required to hold a public sale three years after receiving them. Only a small number of contents are ever claimed.
All contents are claimable up until auction time and will be turned over to the owner if ownership can be verified.<BR>
