Reorganization of the East Snowstorm Mining Co., which was incorporated in June 1906 under the laws of Washington. Company offices were located in Spokane, Washington and mines were located in Mullan, Shoshone Co., Idaho. By 1911, Stevens, author of the Copper Handbook, had noted that "Company's figures regarding workings, tonnage and values are questioned, though the property is by no means devoid of promise. Company plans reorganization, as the Snowstorm Deep Mines, Ltd., with stock made assessable, to provide funds for development" [Ref: Stevens, Copper Handbook, 1911, p. 761]. In the 1912-1913 Copper Handbook, Harvey Weed stated that "A fraud order was issued, 1911, by the postal authorities against C. E. Mitchell, promoter of this company, and also against the company. The title was changed, 1911, to 'The Snowstorm Deep Mines, Ltd.,' which has also been branded as fradulent" [Ref: Weed, Copper Handbook, 1912-1913, p. 336]. No. 983 for 1,000 shares.
