Incorporated in Washington. Cert. #53, issued to J. Loughrey for 100 shares at Spokane in 1898. Black and copper on crème with copper seal. Signed by A.I.P. Kemp as president and L.K. Armstrong as secretary. Oval mining vignette with many miners working underground. 10 ¼” x 8”. U/C. The Shaw-Borden Co., Spokane, printer. The company operated at Loon Lake. Had a 200’ shaft, showing oxidized ores above and sulphides in lower workings, showing small gold and silver values, in a 12’ vein with pay streak of 6” to 5’. Carload shipments have returned 16 to 30% copper [1908 Copper Handbook]. The company had been idle several years by 1908. Small pen mark, right border and browning at top right fold. VF
