A group of two different, issued Washington mining stocks. 1) National Gold Corporation: Incorporated in Washington in 1926. Cert. #651, issued to Chas. W. Johnson for 500 shares. Signed by C.I. Grimsmoe as president and E.G. Priestly as secretary. Black on crème with gold seal. Oval vignette of miners working underground at the top. 11 ½” x 9”. U/C. The company was incorporated in 1926 to acquire under bond and lease the property of the Apex Gold Mining Co. totaling 50 claims, including the Apex mine and the Damon and Pythias claims. Located at Miller river, on the Great Northern R.R. in the Money River district, King County. Fold split bottom left fold. VG+. 2) The Winnie Bob Gold Mining Company: Incorporated in Washington. Cert. #43, issued to Clinton Curl for 500 shares at Seattle in 1912. Signed by W.W. Brown as president and Horace A. Wilson as secretary. Black and gold on crème with gold seal. Large oval vignette of a mill site and head frame at the top. 10 ¼” x 8 ¼”. U/C. Folds. VF
