<B>William Howard Taft: An Impressive Large, Colorful Hand-Painted Political Banner</B></I>. Not to be confused with the smaller sepia-tone banners found for Taft & Bryan, which, although they appear hand-painted, were actually commercially produced. This is a much nicer, larger image and a one-of-a-kind item. Condition is excellent, especially for this type of item, most of which acquired water staining and other problems over the years in storage. Substantial 45” x 60” size, with heavy original wood dowls across top and bottom for convenient display (the bottom dowl holds the banner down flat as it hangs).
