W.H. Grindley, Tunstall, Staffordshire, England produced this extremely flowing blue plate during the Victorian Era. Pattern is called Clarence with a repeat pattern of scrollwork and cascading floral medallions encircling the wide rim with inner well of snow white for contrast. Embossed raised beading defines the outer scallop rim. Raised delicate flower and fleur de lis motif accentuates the beaded rim. Inner well is bordered with a delicate scalloped lace collar embossing.
Plate is in extremely fine condition with no structural flaws, utensil damage or yellowing. Rated as Very Good only due to the fine overall crazing that is present on the plate as expected with age. Plate measures 9 inches and is authentically marked with the W.H.Grindley world logo trademark, used between 1891 - 1914 and incised mold number.

There are two plates available, both in like condition and description and are listed separately.
