W & C Scott & Son Premier Grade SxS Patent Triplex Lever Grip hammerless shotgun, 10 gauge, 30” damascus patterned blued barrels with fine oak leaf engraving at breech, rear of rib, recoil shields, receiver, tangs, side plates, barrelrelease, forend inserts and trigger guards, crystal indicators, double triggers, checkered wood butt stock and forend, added Pachmayr hard rubber butt pad, #41430. This beautiful high grade British side by side is in overall very good +condition showing the majority of a quality old re-finish to the barrels, very good bores, crisp actions, outstanding high relief engraving, very good + butt stock with an old hairline crack of approx. ¾” on the right side above the crystalindicator; good forend with scattered old mars and wear from carry and a chip loss at the front point ahead of the forward engraved inset. The length of pull from the front trigger to the end of the butt pad is 14-1/8”. According toinformation contained in British Gunmakers Volume Two – Birmingham, Scotland & the Regions by Nigel Brown, on page 141, this gun was produced around 1887. (Antique). Est.: $4,000-$8,000.
