Two First of Exchange from W. B. Hamilton & Co., Bankers. One is dated 1879 and the other 1880. Paper printed with “GOLD” in a gold- colored ink across the middle of the paper. On the left side is a large “1” on one and a "FIRST" on the other; above which is the check number and below which is the postal stamp. There is a vignette of a dog with a key by a safe.
