<Our item number 122743><B>Von Braun, Wernher.</B> &#40;1912-1977&#41; Leading rocket scientist in Germany and the United States; he is considered the father of the United States program. Three page of typed notes with holograph notations and five of von Braun&#39;s famous &#34;B&#34; signatures. The notes are weekly summaries written by Dr. Ernst Stuhlinger in 1961, &#39;63 and &#39;67 to von Braun, who became director of NASA&#39;s Marshall Space Flight Center in 1960. One of von Braun&#39;s comments is, &#34;!!A bit fast eh! B&#34; The papers cover topics critical to the space program in the 1960s, including landing a man on the moon, with specific information on Launch Vehicle Technology, Electric Propulsion systems, Saturn C-1 three stage rocket, Supporting Technology related to &#34;Manned Lunar Progect&#34; and Pegasus III Mission.
