Vladimir Dzhanibekov is an artist whose works are sold on the international art market. Aside from Alexey Leonov and Alan Bean, he is the third cosmonaut whose works of art are exhibited in museums
The former Soviet cosmonaut, Vladimir Alexandrovich Dzhanibekov (b. 1942) began with painting in his childhood. Meanwhile, he is a third cosmonaut after Alexey Leonov and Alan Bean whose works are exhibited in museums. He gets the inspiration for his motives from the space missions. Dzhanibekov has also illustrated several books. Furthermore, he has designed four stamps for Soviet post office. The flexible brushwork, fresh colors and dynamic representation of cosmonaut motive make this painting to a typical Dzhanibekov’s space impressions.

The painting is signed in Cyrillic in the right lower part and dated. The painting as well as frame are in very good condition. The canvas frame has the size if 50 x 70 cm and the total dimensions including the frame are 53 x 73.3 cm.
