TLS, one page, 6 x 9, Hotel Windsor Melbourne letterhead, July 19, 1961. A letter to a friend. In part: “Everybody has been sweet and welcoming here and it is nice to be back in this lovely country again though with rehearsals everyday I have not had much time to visit outside Melbourne.” Intersecting folds, a horizontal crease, and irregular toning to the left edge, otherwise fine condition. At the time of the letter, Leigh was on a theatre tour through Australia and New Zealand.
