Jackson & Co., Denver Colorado, opened shop in Denver in 1879. On the back of the card there is a long description praising the tributaries from Georgetown to Black Hawk. Titled "Clear Creek Canyon" the description begins, “Clear Creek, with its various tributaries, rises in among the snow-clad peaks of the main Rocky Mountain range immediately west and in plain sight of Denver. It runs through the very heart of one of the richest as well as the oldest mining centers in Colorado . . . .”City: GeorgetownCounty: Clear CreekState: CODate:
