Lot of 15 pieces: 7 letters and 8 Western Union Telegraphs. The letters are addressed to John Piper and each is written on a letterhead from a stage production or theater company. These include: 1) "Mixed Pickles," with Mr. J.B. Polk starring. The letter is signed by Frank Cotter, Manager; 2) The World Famed New Rentz-Santley Novelty & Burlesque Company; 3) "Coon Hollow," a romance, signed by C.E. Callahan, Business Manager; 4) Francis Valentine & Co. Theatrical and Commercial Printing House; 5) Mestayer's Company of Comedians, Illustrating the Very Latest "We, Us & Co." at Mud Springs, and signed by Frank Hoogs of the Standard Theater in San Francisco; 6) Faust, starring Lewis Morrison, and signed by Edw. J. Abraham, Manager; and 7) a letter from Adolph Sutro and signed by him, dated 1873. 8-15) all Western Union telegraphs from various people, including the Manager of Sousas Band.
