This table is made of Zitan wood ( Dark Ebony). It has the traditional Chinese Ming Qing period style of simplicity and delicate. Because of the precious of the wood, the cabinet has simple structure with decent decoration pattern. Zitan furniture belongs to a collection item in the Chinese society as well as in the western auction house in the modern era. The table is in hexagon shape and it can be separated into two pieces as corner display table.

India Zitan is a rare and top quality beautiful grain pattern solid wood. Zitan wood has many characters. New Zitan wood has a reddish purple color. If it is kept indoor without the direct exposure to sunlight, it remains the reddish color. After a period of usage and long time exposure to sunlight or outdoor atmosphere, the wood color will get darker, from light reddish purple to dark reddish purple, purple black, or black. This is the interesting of using high quality solid wood.
