Vintage World War II field trunk belonging to Brigadier General Steve Chappuis. The field trunk is in overall good condition, measuring 28 ½” long, 16” wide and 14” deep. It bears numerous marks indicating shipment to Brig. GeneralChappuis at various locations including Fort Monroe, VA. The interior of the trunk is also in good condition and has instructions for packing what appear to be mess kits printed in German inside the lid. An interesting piece of World War II militaria that deserves further research. Est.: $75-$150
