Tutima

Tutima is a German watchmaker based in Ganderkesee, which uses exclusively Swiss Ébauches. The company’s origins lie in the merging of UROFA and UFAG, which were founded by the lawyer Dr. Ernst Kurtz. Tutima’s best-known product is the pilot chronograph from 1941, an official replica of the UFAG/UROFA model from the same year. In 1985 the mechanical Military Chronograph was launched, which has since become standard equipment for pilots in the German army and the official NATO watch. (cbo)
