Twenty-two vintage felt tip or pencil signatures of Hollywood stars from the 1940s on individual various size cards or slips, most inscribed. Thirteen are signed on the reverse of Meal of the Day cards. Signers include: Frank Sinatra, Ronald Reagan, Jane Wyman, James Cagney, Edward G. Robinson, Ritz Brothers (”to Sandra, Best Wishes, Ritz Bros. Al, Jimmy & Harry”), Joan Bennett, Red Skelton, Gabby Hayes (one slip with Roscoe Karns), Johnny Weissmuller, Peggy Ann Garner, Felix Bressart, Virginia Bruce, and George Murphy. According to the consignor, the signatures were originally acquired by a waitess named Sandra (to whom most of the signatures have been inscribed) who was a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant. In very good condition, with moderate toning, creasing, scattered soiling, corner dings, and mounting corner impressions. Accompanied by the original photo album that once held the signatures.
