<td width="100%">
Clearly you arrive at a somewhat unsettling electrified bust, something more akin to a sci-fi robot than an actual human. Which would make sense seeing as this flat black-faced golem with incandescent lamps for eyes and a nose literally has a sales pitch coming out of his mouth, promising that Tantale bulbs are always robust, never need to be turned off, and will never die.
It?s a queer promotional angle, but the uncredited artist, working from Louis Brau's original artwork (the poster bears the appropriate "d'apres' designation) pulls off a creation that burns itself into the mind's eye of the viewer as surely as the product's tantalum filaments burn bright, night or day.
