Vintage canoe paddle by Porter Paddles of Patton Maine (1992 production year). A tough, ash wood beaver tail style canoe paddle made by the famous Ray Porter. It's a traditional "voyageur" tripping paddle, which offers excellent natural flexibility but the Rick-toughness of Ash. 57 inches long for paddlers 5'4" to 5'10" (or taller if favoring a shallower dip in the water). The grip was originally unfinished, but it's only owner finished the grip by oils from his hand (from paddlers use). Used but in perfect condition to give long years of use. Â
