<td width="100%">
Beautifull black silk and wool blend gabardine two piece suit from the late 1940's. The silk lining only goes halfway down the back in the 1940's style, which makes the suit cooler. The fabric was called "sharkskin" in those days. (probably politically incorrect now) This is the kind of suit Frank Sinatra wore. High Quality, this was an expensive suit in it's day. There are two labels, the one on the inside pocket says made by Architects of Men's Clothing, Wm P. Goldman & Bros. The label on the outside of the pocket says GGG Originations, George L. Curzon, Denver. In as near mint as it can get, no stains, no holes, no damage I can see, looks unworn. The jacket measures 33 inches from neck to hem, 44 inches around the chest, armpit to armpit, and the sleeve inseam is 15 inches. The pants are also in very good condition, very clean, inside the waistband are buttons for fastening suspenders, this really dates the suit, it may be older, like around 1945. The pants meassure 38 inches in the waist, and 39 inches from waist to hem, and the inseam is 29 inches, with a 1.5 inch cuff. A really superbly tailored suit out of fabulous fabric. Thanks for shopping in the Land of Enchantment!
