<B>Vintage Black Americana Photographs.</B></I> This lot consists of two photographs from the late 19th or early 20th century with African-American themes. Included is a visually interesting photograph of a tobacco store, measuring about 7" x 5", on backing board, with incredibly sharp detail. The viewer can easily make out the labels on the cigar boxes. Other interesting details include men holding pool sticks, a kitten and puppy on the countertop, and a well-dressed African-American man in the foreground. The other photograph measures 4.5" x 7.5", on backing board with a Manitou, Colorado photographer's studio name on the reverse. The image shows six African-American men on donkeys posed in front of the famous balancing boulder near Manitou.
