It is lovely and well rendered circa late 1950s asian silk embroidery, featuring two cranes perched on a tree, the cloth is sandwiched between two pieces of glass within a 5.5" diameter gold metal frame. The round frame suspends from a globe-like stand, on an axis, and revolves much as a globe would on the axis to showcase the embroidery in the light, and from both sides, as the embroidery is skillfully finished back and front. The stand features light enamel work, is lightweight, and measures about 11" high. A lovely tabletop eye-catcher. In lovely age appropriate pre-owned condition, light wear. For the lover of the finer sweeter things of life, for the traveller down memory lane, or just because you know you love it. If you love it, you know what to do!
