Vintage Album/Postcard Collection, Early 1900s.
The Art Nouveau album in poor condition (cover/spine detached), containing a total of over 200 postcards, some unsent, but many sent/written on. All or most of the cards are addressed to Johnny Lausten of Maxwell/Colusa, California. Cards include California, Nevada, and other locations; a few photo postcards; numerous humor, novelty/of the period, romance, holiday cards, etc. There is also a loose collection of Lausten's school ribbons from the 1890s (Colusa County Board of Education). OF NOTE: Photo postcards including Stonyford Reservoir, and one identified as "Indian Schools" (Nebraska?); and there is a photographic image card of "Colonel Theodore Roosevelt" on horseback, and another with black woman and child beside a small cabin house. There are a few of the San Francisco Earthquake series, sent/with messages in 1906.

Condition of the collection is Fair-Good; some creasing/dings, etc., numerous with writing on the face of cards.
