This is a vintage 1969 postcard featuring artwork by Aslan titled Christine - a blonde wearing only a full-length fur. Printed in France. SIZE: Approx. 4" x 6". Aslan (born Alain Gourdon), (May 23, 1930 - 11 February 2014) was a French painter, sculptor, and pin-up artist. He is mostly famous in France for his pin-ups. He contributed to Lui from the creation of the magazine in 1964 to the early eighties, providing a monthly pin up. He is the sculptor of the Fifth Republic Marianne as Brigitte Bardot in 1970, followed by the Mireille Mathieu Marianne. **MORE postcards from 1950s to 1990s (risque, nude, art sci-fi, oddities) in this and future auctions. From the estate of a big collector who traveled the world and had some very scarce paper items. Many postcards from small independent underground printers in Germany, Holland, France, UK, etc.

We reserve the right to reject any bid. The highest bidder will be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt on our part as to the validity of any bid, the auctioneer will have the final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, our sales record is conclusive.

Therefore, when a bidder unilaterally violates the terms and conditions by not paying as agreed, forcing All Things Estate Auctions to use valuable time and effort for non-income producing purposes, a 20% restocking fee, with a minimum fee of $50, shall be applied and collected. A 20% restocking fee also applies to merchandise rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than misrepresentation by All Things Estate Auctions. All sales are final. No lots are sold on approval. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation. There are no returns or exchanges. By signing up to bid and by bidding, bidder agrees not to violate the payment provisions of these terms and conditions.
