Vincent Price Correspondence and Photo. In 1937, Vincent Price starred in his second play The Lady Has a Heart, in Broadway's Longacre Theatre. Prior to the performance, Price received the correspondence included in this lot -- most notably a letter from the play's producer Rufus Phillips, regarding the potential casting and other issues with play. In addition, telegrams were sent to Price from his many friends, most of them famous, wishing him luck with the play's debut. Included among these telegrams are best wishes from actor Harry Ellerbe, dancer Irene Castle, singer Peg LaCentra, and actors Jack and Agnes (Moorehead) Lee. Also included is a Polyfoto portrait of Price from that time period.
