We have a covered serving dish with a gold border by Vignaud, Limoges France. This piece was imported for the famous Wanamaker's Department Store, and dates to the 1930's - 1940's. The dish is a bright white porcelain with a gold scalloped border outlined in black with gold handles. The dish measures 10" long by 7" wide and is 2 1/2" deep. This is marked with the green Vignaud stamp as well as the Wanamaker's green stamp with the "W" inside of a green wreath, and Philadelphia, Paris, New York below. The covered dish is in very good condition with no chips or cracks on the base or lid. The gold handles do show some wear from age as expected. Very nice piece!
