Very rare piece. Hayes Otoupalik collection. Hayes purchased this rifle directly from the estate of a OSS solider. The rifle is completely sterile, it has been modified for use with a silencer. Was meant for use behind enemy lines. Sterile of all markings, made this way to prevent enemies discerning the national affiliation of the captured soldier.
This Sterile 22 Rifle was obtained from a CIA/SOG Special forces veteran of the Vietnam War by the name of Sgt Maj Rupert Jack Stratton who served with the 5th Special Forces. It has an enclosed bolt so that there is no gas leakage. A unique clandestine weapon of the Vietnam war. Extremely Rare, once in a lifetime opportunity.
