The Victorians had special serving pieces for almost every type of food. Delicate pierced or slotted ladles such as this pretty one by R. Blackinton were designed to to sift powdered sugar over berries. This sifter measures almost 5" long and has a fancy monogram. I love the star shaped piercings in the bowl. This piece is in excellent condition and will cost $4 to ship to US addresses.
