8 fabulous English Victorian cups and saucers. Made by Edwin James Drew Bodley, son of Edward Fisher Bodley at the Burslem Hill Top Works in Burslem Staffordshire England on the 11th of September 1876. Each bears the Victorian Kite/Registry mark which allows us to date them exactly. Originally 12 there are 2 pink, 2 pale blue/gery, 2 Pumpkin coloured, 1 yellow and 1 pale green. Wonderful square handles. There is very slight wear to the gilding around the rims of the cups otherwise no damage.There are pink handwritten numbers UNDER the glaze on all the pieces EXCEPT the pale blue/grey CUPS. The numbers are a "7" over "2949"
