<td width="100%">
Mid 19th century Small women's or child's American Victorian mourning brown woven hair, with yellow glass stone, and gold bracelet circa 1850. Bracelet measures approximately 5.75" long and is approximately 5/8" wide (clasp is slightly larger at 3/4"). Clasp and end caps are karat gold with an intricate hand-engraved Rococo Revival scroll design. Faceted yellow glass foiled back paste stone (imitating citrine color) is prong set. Hinges and clasp are in working order. Back of clasp is hand-engraved with initials that appear to be YCN. Woven hair is not damaged or broken, but is loosely woven and the ends of strands protrude (see photos). A brown ribbon approximately 1" shorter than the length of the visible hair is hand sewn to the backside of the hair. One end of this ribbon has an attached hook (like that used for a hook and eye on clothing). In good condition.
