This lot features a unique sterling piece, a large tea pot that was made in London England and dates to 1878,the mid of queen Victoria's reign. The pot has four marks.. One the lion indicates it is silver sterling. Next the cat face tells the location the piece was made, London England, Third the women facing right is a duty mark of queen Victoria placed there to tell if the item was taxed. Finally the C with shield indicates the date 1878. The tea pot is in excellent condition for its age. Measures: 8 1/2" W x 7" D x 9 1/2" H
