Victorian Malachite Cameo Brooch/pendant This Exquisite Victorian Cameo Is An Intricately Carved Depiction Of Bacchae, A Female Follower Of Dionysus The God Of Wine And Fertility. Because Of The Difficulty In Carving This Stone With The Variations In Color, We Rarely Find One Of This Quality. Carved In High Relief She Is Wonderfully Detailed From All Angles. She Is Portrayed Wearing A Wreath Of Grapes And Vines In Honor Of Dionysus. The Cameo Is In Very Good Condition With A Very Small Nick In The Nose Which Is Not Noticeably Apparent. Otherwise The Cameo Is Near Perfect. She Has Been Remounted, 1950's, Into A Lovely Guglielmo Cini 14k Gold Bezel That Can Either Function As A Brooch Or Pendant. The Brooch Measures 1 ¾" By 1 ½" And Weighs 29 Grams.

We handle all shipping of items in house. We use our shipping rate and pass that savings on to our buyers. There will be a small handling fee for boxes and packing material that usually runs $3-$5 per box. Larger items can get expensive to ship. If you have any question please let us know. Insurance will be at the expense of the buyer. Any damage or lost items during shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Insurance is recommended. All items must be paid for auction day. Live bidders must pay for and remove items immediately following Sundays auction unless special arrangements have been made. Internet bidder check out days Tuesday April 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday April 26th from 9:00 to 5:30 p.m. Any items left after these days will be shipped to address provided at the buyers expense.
