A grand antique love knot brooch made during the late Victorian era, Circa 1880. The piece is adorned with a large Yellow Citrine Stones in the centre and drop down which glistens with a warm, radiant glow.
A lover’s knot has long been a symbol of love, loyalty and friendship as the knot represents an everlasting bond that is unbreakable and forever entwined.
The twisted gallery is modelled in Pinchbeck and has been gilded in 9ct Yellow Gold. It's in excellent condition and fitted with a strong pin.
The brooch is possible to use as a pendant by using top knot
Total size is 1,56 inch across and 2,7 inch drop down
The citrine stones are: top- 22,3 mm across x16mm down
and bottom-14,4 across x 18,8 mm down
The brooch is in good vintage condition with a little sign of wear
Gold chain and presentation box are not included
