<td width="100%">
Early 1900's jet black glass bead necklace that would have been worn during a mourning period. There are three long strands and the necklace has been strund and knotted on Corde thread - a thread that was often used to make handbags and purses, from the Victorian era thru to the Deco and early WW11 era. The black beads are in beautiful condition and a lovely glossy vlack color - the shape is irregular, like little nuggets, each bead about 1/2" x 1/4". The total length of the necklace is 17" not including the loop and thread thru closureand end bead which would add an additional 5-1/2" inches. Looks absolutely stunning when worn and has a very dramatic cobweb style.
