<td width="100%">
Three matching willow pattern Chinoiserie style Willow design dishes, Staffordshire made. Soup or porridge plates. This is one of the infuriating back marks which is all there, but I just can?t read it. There is a printed blue mark with the pattern name (?China M...... can?t decipher it) and the words Opaque China. (This was used by quite a few potteries to describe the body). There is an ?F? underneath the pattern name, and a Chinese key design motif, which could also be a ?T.G.? or J.G.? in stylised pattern. (Could be Thomas Goodwin?) In the centre of the plate is an impressed crown mark - the crown is surrounded by a halo-sunburst effect. Under this is further lettering, but unreadable.
Plate measures 26 cm diameter and 4.5 cm high (10.1/4 inches and 1.3/4 inches high).
Some non-serious age staining to rear of one, with slight rim crack otherwise all excellent for the age. No chips or other damage.
