<td width="100%">
This charming 1926 Victor Waterbury Pedestal Table is construction of solid black cherry wood and is signed and stamped as shown in the last photo. It is a fine example of solid construction, with a subtle tapering pedestal and Empire profile. The table measures 42 x 42 x 30, and is suitable as a living room side table, entry hall table or as a dining table. The top has exceptional modeling in the wood grain, ranging from a golden tone to a rich cherry color. Note the pegged wood detail on the pedestal, with a contrasting tone. It shows some surface scratches and nicks normal for its age, however is in overall excellent condition. The table has a center metal threaded dowel and bottom bolt device which connects the base, pedestal and top, and may be separated easily for moving and storage. The Empire ball feet also may be removed, and have leveling glides. Overall, a beautiful, rich piece with a warm patina. Shipping is from New Haven, CT, Yale adjacent, at our studios in The Eli.
