Vickers Dutch Contract Model 1906 Luger Pistol
Operating under the Vickers Limited name from 1911 to 1929, this pistol was produced by the firm on contract with the Dutch. Fixed sights, with the chamber blank and the front toggle link marked "VICKERS/LTD". The "crown/ W" mark of Queen Wilhelmina is present on the left side of the extension, with London proofs on the barrel, breechblock and toggle links, "GELADEN and "RUST" markings on the extractor and safety area. A brass plaque marked "Vb.G.III./ 8" has been added to the left side of the frame. Matching numbers on the barrel and frame, and matching partial numbers on the lever, side plate, trigger, sear, toggle pin, toggle links, and breechblock. Checkered grips and nickel finished magazine with wood base.

Condition: Arsenal refurbished/reworked, with 60% of the faded blue finish, showing pitting on the side plate, extension, sides of the frame and muzzle, edge wear and patches of brown and gray patina. Grips are good, with a chip absent near the safety switch, and dents. Magazine base is cracked and chipped. Mechanically good.
