Where can you find a VINTAGE KUTANI JAPANESE CHRYSANTHEMUM VASE? Here and you can be the FIRST to use it! It's in wonderful condition with the original paper KUTANI sticker on the bottom. The inside is very clean and the outside is hand-painted in ecru and decorated with chrysanthemums and assorted flowers. The entire vase has a beautiful crackle glaze and The pattern is called 'Hanazume-kumi' or chrysanthemum style. The rim, bottom edge and all the flowers are outlined in gold. This 1960's treasure is really lovely and it would be the perfect gift for a housewarming or for someone who loves Japanese porcelain or Orientalia.
MARKS & MATERIAL: Original paper gold foil sticker: TRADE MARK MADE IN JAPAN. GENUINE KUTANI. It is also signed in a hand-painted cartouche. Off white or Ecru porcelain. Dark orange, green, blue, yellow, white and pink hand-painted flowers. Crackle glaze. Real gold on edges of vase and the outline of the flowers.
SIZE: 5inch tall. 4inch diameter at the widest in the middle.
