Very unique and unusual high quality Gabbeh design rug. 100%natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, worsted wool pile on cotton foundation. Gabbeh rugs are woven by nomadic tribes. What is intriguing about Gabbeh rugs is the fact that, when one is reminded of the fact that the birthplace of a such a sophisticated designs is among tribal nomads with very little education, if any at all. in fact it is only then, that one would come to realize and appreciate the fact that this is man's intrinsic genius way of celebrating life.
