Very rare album of Rumba & Samba Bobby Ramos old records unusual with the inscription on the cover: The Arthur Murray Way ! As is, the album is very old... with 4 records (78's surely). This Bobby Ramos and his Orchestra album index: Dormillon - rumba; Bongo Bongocero - rumba; Walter Winchell -rumba; Carioca - samba; Maxixe Lundu -samba; Sin Timbal - rumba; The Arthur Murray Way - rumba; Noche De Amor - rumba. Bobby Ramos and his orchestra play the most distinctive and exciting Latin-American ryhthms. On the back of the cover it also adds; "That's why the famed Arthur Murray has chosen this new ALLADIN album to help his pupils all over the nation the fascinating ballroom steps of our Latin neighbours...!"
Also it states: Bobby Ramos (1941) was shedualed to play the Colony Club in Chicago for 2 weeks... he stayed a year. He was asked to 'fill in' one night at the Chez Paree... he stayed a year ! From there to the Drake Hotel - and then to the world famous Trocadero in Hollywoord.
Those were the golden days... and now in 2014-2015, you can hear Bobby Ramos and hos Orchestra. Even if one has an edge broken and still to be played, the records seem played a bit and are in good to excellent condition. Enjoy these old rare records and add them to your collection now !!!
