Very rare R.N. Lambert percussion cane gun, circa about 1832 believed to have been mfg. by Ethan Allan at Grafton, Mass. Refer Flayderman 7C-019.5. The weapon measures approx 33-1/2”overall, the cane portionmeasures 28” and is approx 28 caliber. The action is working but the bone grip shows a bad brake and loss of about ¼ of the grip as the action works against the fragile material. The condition is fair to good.Sophisticated collectors estimate about a dozen to exist. From an old N.Y. collector’s estate. Est.;$1,250-$2,500.
