Very early U.S. Springfield Model 1903 bolt action rifle, 24” S.A. barrel, dated “05 A”, military finish, wood stock, leather sling, #5024. This gun is in overall good + condition showing considerable muted military finish, good bore, crisp action, good markings and good wood stock with usual mars and scratches from storage; circle P proof and ESA partially observable cartouche on left side of stock above trigger (date hardto read completely; appears to be 1904).
