Karnataka,Isapura(1100-1200 AD?),Gold Pagoda, Obv: rama and seeta seated in profile facing right, hanuman facing towards them, Rev: old kannada legend Sri Isapura, 3.60g,14.37mm, about very fine, Very Rare.
Isapura was located in the present areas of Shimoga and it is mentioned in the book by K. Ganesh that these coins were issued by Ramesvara temple at Isapura which was built by Queen Santala Devi who was the wife of King Vishnuvardhan.
