100% original, made with a full breeching, and extremely difficult to find in this stellar condition. This lustrous black plantation saddle features exceptional attention to detail including solid brass hardware, a regally tufted seat, brass studded edges, braided accents, square tooled skirts and a stylish two-tone patterned wool underpad. The stately pommel holsters or cantinas are personalized with monogrammed plates attached. The matching bridle maintains this detailed consistency with multiple billet stays, brass bindings, braided reins and a fancy filed bit. Clearly made for the “Jefe” who could afford the very best, the saddle set is monogrammed and includes lavish bridle conchos topped by a jeweled crown. The saddle is maker-marked Calle de Teniente Rey No. 25 Lejitimas De M. Valles Habana. Possibly made for an Andalusian horse, or similar smaller breed, due to its charming diminutive size.
