The early Kutani pieces are called Ko-Kutani and are extremely rare. Their production was continued over 50-60 years and enjoyed popularity. Around 1810 the production of Kutani porcelain was re-established, which continues until today. The porcelain is known for its surface in the enamel colors green, blue, yellow, purple, red and partly gold.
