Manufactured from 1868 to 1881. The left side of the barrel is properly marked with the one line address and patent dates and the matching serial number is marked on the butt and stamped on the inside of the right grip panel. The matching assembly number "A2" is marked on the frame under the grip, front face of the cylinder and on the back of the barrel lug. The right side of the butt under the grip is marked with the five point rework star. Nickel finish with casehardened hammer, blade front and notch rear sights and fitted with smooth varnished rosewood grips.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original nickel finish with some minor flaking around the barrel hinge screw and showing a few scattered minor dings. The hammer shows 50% original case colors vibrant in flashes. The grips are fine with 90% original varnish remaining and showing a few minor dings and handling marks. The action is excellent.
