Maker: The tag says, Edna Leki (1924 - 2003), Zuni. However, this has been strongly attributed to Lavina Tsikewa (1938 -?) the daughter of Mary and David Tsikewa (sister of Edna Leki). Approx. Age: Circa 1970s. Size: Fits 21” on the shortest strand and 26” on the longest. Condition: Good. NOS. Additional Info: Wether this is made by Lavina Tsikewa or her aunt, Edna Leki, either way, they are both well-known fetish carvers from the same family. Experts agree, this looks more like Lavina's work (a few coral fetishes may have been thrown in from elsewhere). It is very nicely carved with turquoise heishi with sterling findings. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $5 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.
