The receiver has the intact Royal Chrysanthemum over the Kana markings. The barrel takedown mechanism is marked with assembly number (435) and the receiver is marked with the serial number and the Nagoya Arsenal factory mark. Original matching WWII dust cover and standard tangent rear sight graduated from 300-1,500 meters with anti-aircraft wings, peep sight and inverted "V" front with guards. Two-piece stock with a cupped buttplate and side mounted sling swivels. The front barrel band has two screws and the rear has a slot in the top. The takedown hardware is matching on the side plates and the bolt extractor and cocking knob match the rifle. The bolt handle is the correct plum shaped version. With a brass push on muzzle cover and cleaning rod.

Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish overall with even thinning of the blue finish with wear on the bolt body, and rear receiver ring. The stock and handguard are excellent with nice original finish overall, showing minor handling marks and light pressure dents on the sides and underside of the buttstock. Rifle has all matching numbers to include the complete bolt assembly and dust cover. An excellent example of a late WWII Japanese Paratrooper rifle.
